The New Orleans Showboat idea was born out of vacations my family would take on the American Queen Riverboat out of New Orleans. We fell in love with the history, the shows, the food, the excitement of just being there. I've thought to myself, "Why can't we enjoy this on land?" That was four years ago. The struggle to find people who believe in me and share the vision for the New Orleans was not easy. We are now within striking distance of opening the restaurant showroom. Thanks to all of you who believe in the project and share the vision. We want the New Orleans to be a beacon of light in these unsettling times. We provide an escape for those who may feel that the pressures of this world are too much and are lacking hope. We're not so much interested in booking stars as our goal is to make stars.
